Brainspotting Intensive
Intensive Overview
The Brainspotting (BSP) Intensive, developed by BSP founder David Grand, is the ultimate learning experience for BSP therapists. The Intensive utilizes the attuned presence of 10 participants for healing experientials in the center of the group, with each participant being therapist once and client once. Laura Hillesheim sits next to the therapist; teaches and guides them in the most attuned, technically advanced, and innovative BSP processes. Afterwards, sessions are extensively debriefed. The Intensive offers unhurried time to process your own traumas, heal negative beliefs, or expand into performance goals. It is a master class to learn and deepen skills as an advanced BSP therapist. Intensives also offer a path to certification for interested practitioners.
The flyer below details more about the Intensive, the cost, what to expect, etc. The FAQ section gives even more detailed information. You can also apply to attend, contact Laura’s Intensive assistant Kristi for more information, or even pay your fees using the links below. Please do not pay any fees until you know you have been officially accepted.

Once accepted, you will be notified and given a form to complete along with your deposit. To be considered, you must show through the application that you have completed in-person (live) Phase 1 and Phase 2 trainings and that you are invested in your Brainspotting growth. We cannot accept anyone who does not meet these requirements.
IF ACCEPTED TO ATTEND, FULL AND ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THIS TRAINING
Requirements and Expectations:
100% attendance is required for each day. This means that you are not able to leave the training for a few hours to go attend another meeting etc. and then return to the training, as the training is experiential and this may leave someone without a dyad partner, and you may miss key info. If you are unable to attend 100% each day, then do not register for the training as opting out of practicums is NOT permitted. All aspects of the training must be completed with full participation.
During Brainspotting Trainings, you will have the opportunity to both witness and practice different live Brainspotting sessions. This teaching is highly experiential, and you may experience activation during the process. I encourage you to engage in meaningful self-care throughout the training and reach out to any of the facilitators for support. Additionally, please remember that the experientials are for practice purposes and while healing may occur, we encourage you to focus on issues that are well within your system's window of tolerance.
